Your tour with Jodi will start with Jodi leading you through Wayapa Wuurrk. "Wayapa® is an earth connection practice that is based on ancient Indigenous wisdom that focuses on taking care of the Earth as the starting point for creating Earth Mind Body Spirit well-being. Living in harmony with their environment is what sustained Australian Aboriginal people to be one of the world’s oldest, continuous living culture – for over 100,000 years! Through a combination of Earth mindfulness, narrative meditation, a series of physical movements and taking action to look after the planet, Wayapa® provides a sense of belonging to the Earth while creating holistic well-being."
We will teach you the skills of stand up paddle boarding, before embarking on our adventure, stopping at various points to listen to Jodi or Jake to hear their amazing cultural stories.
Recommended for beginners through to experienced paddle boarders. A basic level of fitness is also required.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your SUP tour at the SUP Shellharbour van. You will then sign your waiver form (if not already completed online) & we will allocate your equipment.
We recommend swimwear with shorts/rash vest optional. SUP Shellharbour rash vests may be borrowed to wear during your experience. A hat & plenty of sunscreen is highly recommended. You will also need to bring enough water for your 2 hour experienced (which can be stored under straps on your board).
We look forward to taking you on an amazing SUP adventure!
